Easter Weekend

Last weekend (Easter) was full of food, family and lots and lots of fun! We headed out sat morning for little miss Abbi Jo’s baptism in SV. I still can’t believe she is old enough to be baptized but it was a great day and she looked so pretty! :) After the baptism we headed over to the fire station for some grub and to let the little ones play on all the old fire trucks. They even got to take a ride around town on the big fire truck thanks to fireman JR. Sat night the little ones came over to gma’s and we got to dye some Easter eggs! They LOVED it and we all had fun helping and watching them. Easter Sunday was another great day filled with lots and lots of food. Homemade cinnamon rolls, Easter dinner (ham, rolls, funeral potatoes, salads, deviled eggs), lots of candy, desserts and lots more! YUM YUM YUM! Monday we got to sleep in and hang out. My mom helped me make some really cute headbands (thanks mommy!), we got to hang out with Payzli and make some smoothies, play some WII and just chill. Later that afternoon we left SV and made the trek to Provo. I have actually never made that drive and neither had Dillon, obviously, and we both decided that we could live in Heber City. It was so pretty and had lots of open space on the outskirts of town where we could live….maybe one day! :) We got to Provo around 8pm and jumped right into the Hotel pool with most of the Merrill family and let me tell you, all those little Merrill cousins LOVE Dillon! (He was a little sore that night and the next day! Hehehe) The next morning we got up and headed to Dillon’s cousin’s funeral. (If you want to read his obit click here http://ads.heraldextra.com/articles/2009/04/12/obituaries/341463.txt). Cameron has been battling cancer for the past 2 years and after an intense last 4 months or so, he lost the battle. I never got to meet Cameron before he passed but I can tell you, just from the funeral, that he was an AMAZING person. The funeral was wonderful! It was really good to spend time with everyone and meet the rest of the Merrill family that I hadn’t met yet. All but one of the Merrill cousins were there except one (Kyle is on his mission in Germany) and all the aunts, uncles, great uncles, grandparents, everyone was there. It was a very emotional, spiritual, uplifting and fun day and then it was back to Rexburg! Here are just some of the pictures of our fun times.

Oh...those bead watches are just a few of the collection my sister Heather has made. They are all so adorable and very very well priced (compare to Bumble watches)! If you are interested in one click here www.simplyusboutique-beads.blogspot.com and you can see some of the other watches she has made. She has TONS of beads to choose from and TONS of different watches faces to choose! She gave me one for my birthday and I LOVE it! Just a little plug..... :)
