3 years

4 days ago Dillon and I celebrated 3 years of wedded bliss! I know I say this all the time but it is completely crazy to think that we have been married for 3 whole years but at the same time I can't really remember what my life was like without Dillon in it! I love this man so much and am so so happy that we both took that silly Anthropology class.
So, to celebrate this years anniversary we decided to go camping. We were in Star Valley visiting my family and stopped at Little Elk Creek (Palisades) on our way back on Sunday. We found a perfect little camping spot, set up camp and spent the next 2 days with no cell phones, no worries and just the 2 of us (and Skeeter). We spent our time fishing, relaxing, sleeping, swimming, eating, and laughing at each other. I must say, it was one of the best little 'vacations' we have been on together. Something(s) a-l-w-a-y-s goes wrong for us when we try going on a little get-a-way and things get pretty eventful, but this time was pretty eventless and it was WONDERFUL! Dillon might disagree with me a little just because he had a little bit of a bad day of fishing...just a little bit :)

Our cute little campsiteAbout 100 yards from our camp
My sexy hubby cooking me breakfast. Dillon is a PRO at dutch oven now. He made me this breakfast, chicken, potatoes and cobbler. All of which was FABULOUS!
Dillon fishin the lake outlet. This was just the beginning of his snags for the day :)
Me fishing the Snake. Apparently I made a nice shady spot for Skeeter.
My first fish of the summer! It was quite small but I was SO SO SO excited to catch ...something...finally!
My second bigger fish that almost got away...multiple times and ways
The lovely bark bikini top Dillon made me. He was pretty proud and I must say, it was pretty cool... just a little revealing, lol
Dillon tryin to hitch a ride from Skeeter
The first night Skeeter was pretty restless all night growling at things and wanderin around. So between that and all the fun we had during the days he was pretty tuckered out most of the time.

This last year has included our happiest moments together and our saddest moments together. Because of that, we have grown closer than I ever could have imagined. I am SO lucky to be able to go through these challenges and struggles with Dillon by my side.
I love you Dillon!
