I can't believe I'm another year older. It is crazy to think I am only 1 year away from being 5 years away from being 30!!! lol. I don't feel old enough to be 24...oh well, guess I am. My birthday was Thursday and we really didn't do a whole lot to celebrate but it was still great! :) Dillon did take me to Arby's, which means a lot considering Dillon does NOT like Arby's and I love it!!! But other than that we just hung out with each other! That night Dillon made me some cupcakes and let me blow out candles and open presents.
I also got a fishing license and some underwear! Mini Cadbury eggs, Special K cereal, a fishing license and underwear....what more could a girl possibly ask for when she is a poor grad students wife???? :)

For those that don't know, I share a birthday with my dad. Growing up it was a birthday tradition to have chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and mud pie! I haven't gotten to enjoy that birthday tradition since I left home so I made a simple birthday request and TADA!

I got spoiled again and got more chocolate, some money and this amazing necklace...
"i can do hard things" has kinda been my motto/motivation to make it through this fertility journey we have been battling for so long. Since my birthday also doubled as my due date for my miscarriage, this necklace was the most PERFECT present I could have received this year. THANK YOU MOM!!!I also got some more money and a lunch/shopping date with my mom-in-law and sister-in-laws for this weekend! All in all it was a very good birthday and I got nice and spoiled!! :)
