Day 1

Day 1 - a photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.*This picture was taken this weekend with my beautiful niece Abbi Jo, who's bday is tomorrow! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW ABBI!!!*

-Well my day today has really not been too bad, just a typical day in my boring life. Really...it is VERY boring! I got up, got ready for the day, went to work, got home by 2:30, got on the computer to waste a good chunk of time looking at blogs and facebook, when I've finally had enough of the cyber world I will do whatever dishes are in the sink, clean up a little bit around the house, start thinkin about dinner, do odds and ends that need done (pay bills, work on any projects that got started but not finished, those kinds of things), cook dinner, eat dinner, watch "Biggest Loser" with my hubby who should, maybe, possibly, FINALLY done with homework for the day, watch some news, then go to bed. Exciting eh?? I know you guys are all chomping at the bit to trade me lives. Really, I'm sure you are....I feel like the only person in the world that doesn't have a million and a half things to do all the time, it kinda sucks (remind me of that when I'm complaining about havin too much to do! :)

I'm gonna do it!

Ok, so lately I have seen a lot of people doing this 30 day blog challenge and thought, what the heck! Since I don't blog a whole lot and when I do it is really not entertaining or exciting, maybe this will give a nice change of pace to my blog. The Bastow Twins

Since we had a long weekend this last weekend and hadn't been to Wyoming in a while we decided, what the heck! :) I talked my sister into coming and bringing her little cuties. It was so much fun to see them and how much they have grown and changed. THEY ARE ADORABLE! I, of course, took tons of pictures and since they are so stinkin cute I have to show them off!

*For anyone new to my blog (hahaha, yeah right, I dunno if there is even anyone "old" to my blog anymore! lol) click here to see how these little ones made their grand entrance into this world at only 26 weeks gestational age!

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day (yesterday) everyone! Hope you all had a day full of love! :) Dillon and I had a nice, quiet Valentines day together. Yesterday when I got off work I had to go and clean (I took a little side job cleaning an amazing house every other Monday). Dillon texted me about an hour and a half after I got there to ask how much longer I was going to be. I told him another hour or so then I didn't hear anything from him for a half hour or so. He then sent me a text asking if I needed or wanted his help. I told him I wasn't sure how much longer I was going to be but I was gettin close to being done. Well I finished my cleaning and headed out the door. Right as I stepped off the front porch I looked down the road and there was my sweet husband driving down the road to come and help me finish cleaning! :) (It's the thought that counts anyways, right?) So we turned around and went home. When I walked in the front door I saw these beauties sitting on the kitchen table....ooooooh how I LOVE lilies! I of course gave him a big old smooch then went to change my clothes. As I opened the door to our bedroom I saw this....
My sweet husband, he sure knows the way to my heart...Lilies, Reeses and Cookies! :) After I smooched Dillon again and changed my clothes we headed out the door to find some dinner. We went into Blackfoot and ate at a Chinese Restaurant we like then came home and watched "The Wedding Planner!" All in all it was a very nice day and was lots of fun to spend time with my wonderful hubby and have an excuse to go out to dinner! :)

*Side note: when we got home from dinner Dillon said something about being surprised the balloons hadn't fallen to the floor. When I asked why, his reply was, "because that's good ol' static electricity baby!" LOL and guess what?...one of them is still hanging out above our bed! :)

I seriously feel like the luckiest girl in the world having Dillon for my hubby. We've been through lots of trials and struggles together and I can honestly say that I am grateful for those and for the strength it has brought to our marriage! Dillon has been my rock through everything and I find myself falling more and more in love with him everyday!

Happy Valentines Day babe! I LOVE YOU!

Sunshine

Yesterday the sun was shining and the weather was SO nice, Dillon and I HAD to get out of the house but since it is still winter, but just cold...no snow to play in, there weren't many choices of things to do so we loaded up the guns and went shooting. We started a fire and just hung out down by the river. There was a breeze that made it a little chilly at times but all in all it was so nice and even some what warm not to mention SO SO nice to get out of the house for a little bit. Here are a few pics of our fun time.
So pretty
Such concentration
I told him he looked like a sniper :)
So I had to try...
but it was just a little scary bein able to hear the ice crack under
me every time I would take a shot
Us
A couple of weeks ago Dillon went goose hunting with a guy his uncle knows and was quite successful not to mention seemed to have a LOT of fun. I wish I didn't like sleep and a nice warm house so much so that I could go with him from time to time :)
Have I mentioned lately how much I love this man???
